Protection is the final step in a complete boot care routine — and one of the most important. Red Wing's protection products create a barrier against rain, snow, and salt spray, which can seriously degrade leather over time. They're compatible with all leather types, though application varies: smooth leathers can be sprayed directly after conditioning, while oil-tanned leathers benefit from treatment after their own conditioning.
